Our commitment
HookMafia wants every creator to be able to research, score and write with the product, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or reduced-motion settings. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the marketing site, signup, pricing, checkout and the dashboard.
What is in place
- Semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields on the public pages and the signup flow.
- Keyboard-reachable navigation, buttons and dialogs, with visible focus states.
- Alternative text on informational images and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Text that can be resized and pages that allow pinch-to-zoom on mobile.
- Checkout handled by Stripe, whose hosted pages are maintained to WCAG 2.1 AA.
Known limitations
Some dashboard views still use a dark colour theme with lower text contrast than we would like, a few generated outputs render in dense cards that are tedious to read with a screen reader, and the teleprompter view relies on keyboard shortcuts that are not yet announced. We are working through these and review the list each quarter.
