This policy exists because HookMafia provides immediate access to AI-powered generation tools that consume computational resources upon use. Each generation incurs real costs that cannot be recovered.

3. Try Before You Buy

We provide multiple ways to evaluate HookMafia before purchasing a paid plan:

• Free Plan: Every account starts with a Free plan including 10 credits per month, giving you access to core features like Hook Generator, Tag & Caption Generator, and Hook Score Analyzer
• Promotional Trials: We periodically offer promo codes that grant temporary access to paid features at no cost, allowing you to experience the full Service before subscribing

4. Exceptional Circumstances

While all sales are final, we may consider billing adjustments at our sole discretion in the following exceptional circumstances:

• Billing Errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect billing amounts caused by our system
• Unauthorized Charges: Charges made without your authorization (subject to verification and fraud investigation)
• Extended Outages: Service unavailability exceeding 48 consecutive hours that materially prevented you from using the Service

5. Non-Refundable Items

• Downgrade Differences: The price difference when downgrading from a higher tier plan
• Third-Party Fees: Any fees charged by third parties (e.g., bank fees, currency conversion fees)
• Promotional Items: Free trials, promotional credits, or bonus features
• Terminated Accounts: Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service

6. Subscription Cancellation

6.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing section in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

6.2 Effects of Cancellation

• Continued Access: You retain full access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• No Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will not renew at the end of the period
• Data Retention: Your content and data remain accessible; your account downgrades to the Free plan
• Re-subscription: You can re-subscribe at any time at the then-current pricing

6.3 Cancellation Does Not Equal Refund

Cancelling your subscription stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any previous billing period.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

7.2 Chargeback Policy

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in:

• Permanent termination of your account if the chargeback is found to be fraudulent
• Collection action for the disputed amount plus chargeback fees
• Prohibition from creating new accounts

7.3 Fraudulent Chargebacks

We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that we believe to be fraudulent or made in bad faith. We maintain detailed records of account activity, usage logs, and IP addresses, and will provide evidence to payment processors as necessary.

8.1 Right of Withdrawal
